Ice water as a cooling medium is of major importance in the food and drink industry, as well as in process engineering, bakery and confectionery industry, catering, air conditioning etc. A striking example is applied in the Packo ice (water) builder, i.e. economical storage of energy in the form of ice which is melted down for the refrigeration of products.
