Ice water as a cooling medium is of major importance in the food and drink industry, as well as in process engineering, bakery and confectionery industry, catering, air conditioning etc. A striking example is applied in the Packo ice water builder (ice water store), i.e. economical storage of energy in the form of ice which is melted down for the refrigeration of products.
