30 m³ vertical milk cooling tank in County Durham (Great-Britain)
The Packo agent G & A Wallace has successfully installed a 30,000 L vertical milk cooling tank and a 160 kWh ice builder in the Newcastle region (Durham) in the North East of England, coupled with 8 Fullwood M2 milking. The dairy farmer deliberately chose instant cooling of the milk through the installation of 8 Packo Eco-tube coolers for tap and ice water. This puts the milk already cooled in the tank for a maximum preservation of quality. Along with an Eco-heater heat recovery on two Eco-Cool cooling units he can save maximum energy. Thanks to the 1000 L buffer tank, the disruption of the milking is avoided or reduced to a minimum during the cleaning of the tank 30 m³.
